There are many key elements to building a productive team including communication and cooperation. Good communication means everyone is aware of their own responsibilities and what the team’s goals are whilst cooperation leads to increased productivity.
A team which excels is the one who work together to improve their efforts. They comprehend the importance of ongoing improvements and how this helps to support the overall objectives of the department.
This award is open to any hospital pharmacy team with a minimum of three team members.
Judges will be looking for:
- Effective communication skills with both staff and patients
- Demonstration of a commitment to mentoring or other leadership activities
- Operation within their own pharmacy liaising with key staff members and management and developing key communication skills
- A dedication and commitment to furthering the profession into the future
Who can enter:
This category is open to all pharmacy teams working within any hospital in Ireland. Applications can be through nominating an individual or yourself.
Each submission will be judged by an independent judging panel.
All entries will be handled in the strictest confidence and will not be made available to any party not involved with judging the awards. If your entry is shortlisted, the awards organisers may wish to reproduce a summary of your entry, photographs and any other supporting materials in the finalists’ booklet or within other materials they produce to promote the awards including all press materials.
